Biographies of Our Firm

Kerry Kurian has nearly a decade of experience as a patent professional and more than a decade of experience as a software engineer and business developer.


Prior to this, Mr. Kurian was employed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Lincoln Laboratory, where he developed a number of new technologies and software systems in the fields of remote sensing and video compression. Kerry also served as vice president (and employee #1) of BountyQuest, a company seeking to involve the public in searching for prior art. His experience includes work as a software engineer creating the VR Bike and VR Climber, and numerous other business and technical roles in a variety of entrepreneurial ventures, which he continues today through his independent consultancy, Kixia, Inc.


Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
